The Triton Light on the seawall of USNA, where the Severn River meets Spa Creek and the Annapolis harbor.
It was donated to the Academy and named for the Greek God by the Class of 1945. It is not only an important part of the culture and traditions of the Naval Academy, but also is a trusted navigational point in Annapolis Harbor.
About a year after the light was installed, USS Triton completed her historic submerged circumnavigation. Considering the coincidence of names, the crew of Triton provided samples of water from the 22 seas through which their boat had passed, which were used to fill a globe built into the light.

Canvas Lyve Breathing Color
Canvas is taking the printmaking industry by storm. With eye-popping color gamut and dmax, coupled with critical archival certification and the ability to apply a laminate, it sets a new standard of exceptionalism in fine art and photographic printmaking. This masterful blend of artistry and engineering will capture every nuance in your images. The Lyve™ Canvas is a 19 mil bright white, consistent poly-cotton blend matte canvas using an acid-free, neutral pH coating. The "Chromata White" technology gives the most stable platform on which to print photographs and fine art giclees without the metamerism issues or color shift issues inherent on other canvases. Optical Brighteners compromise the attainment of true color, they complicate profiling accuracy, and they inevitably deteriorate and yellow over time. Lyve is archival certified for 100+ years. A UV laminate protective coating is applied after printing.
